George's Holocaust

I meant to bring this up a while ago but I've been so friggin' busy I haven't had time so here it is...

It seems that George W. has decided that the people in Darfur need help. He says, and I quote, "The people of Darfur are crying out for help and they deserve it."

Whaddaya think the chances are that someone in the White House finally tweaked to the fact that thar's oil in them thar hills?

'Cause really, the people of Darfur have been crying for help for a looong time along with George Clooney, Don Cheadle, Angelina Jolie, Mia Farrow and a host of others but G.W. has suddenly now decided to help.

And listen, Mr. Prime Minister Stephen Harper...don't think I'm letting Canada off...we need to get some people in there and stop this genocide (and YES it is a genocide). We need to stop it NOW!

If you're confused as to how to go about doing it why don't you ring up Romeo D'Allaire? God knows that man has the experience and as long as you don't tie his hands he will get the job done.

I mean, seriously, what does it take before the countries of the world decide that enough is enough...6 million in the Holocaust...1 million in Rwanda...and now Darfur.

Isn't that exactly what we're doing...repeating it?
