Bland with a side of plain.

Does anyone else draw a blank when it comes to the first line of an entry here?

Every single time I start an entry (well, I mean unless I'm on some sort of rant) I sit here for a good 2 minutes thinking "How do I start this off? Do I say hi? That's seems sort of like I'm greeting a crowd. Do I just type random things? Do I start with a question?

It's pathetic really.

But anyway, I've been thinking a lot about my yard lately. I had many landscaping plans for both my front and backyard this summer and lo and behold summer is done and I've done nothing.

*sigh*

But this weekend I have Saturday and Sunday off so I'm going to do some work in the yard AND I'm going to clean my vehicle which is in the dictionary under "disgusting".

I might even go to the paint store and pick out some paint for my badly-in-need-of-updating bathroom.

Oh, and can I tell you all how much I love this Facebook thing? It's like crack for Pete's sake. It's sort of like Myspace in that it's a networking thing but it's way more fun and way less pretentious.

Oh, Oh...did I tell you that the hubby and I went on a long motorcycle ride a couple of weeks ago and I did great!

Yup, we rode for about an hour out into the country and then an hour back. AND I didn't make any mistakes and I LOVED IT!!

I've also started working out on my treadmill again and that's really what I should be doing right now ...all right, all right I'm going....

P.S. This whole entry has a bland kind of feel to it so I may update again after I read the newspaper and watch a news show or too. I always sound better when I'm ranting.
