Xmas Planning

Okay, okay, okay...

I've got the Christmas tree up, the living room and kitchen are decorated and the dining room is 90% done.

We've managed to get THE most coveted gift of all time for the children...the almost impossible to find Wii. And the girls will each get guitars. The boy will be in receipt of his very own Nintendo DS so that I will not have to hear the arguments involved when he wants to use one of his sisters...(Bonus. a present for him AND me at the same time).

I've made a couple batches of cookies and Christmas dinner is roughly sketched out but still mostly in the planning stages.

Usually I make the turkey, dressing and ham and the mashed potatoes (you CAN"T ask someone to bring mashed potatoes...trust me, you can't) Anyhow, my mom is calling me regularly to tell me that we haven't worked out the dinner menu and assigned jobs to each of my sisters (4) and nieces (2).

How the heck we are supposed to do that is beyond me...I'm making the turkey,ham, dressing and mashed potatoes...there is NOT even dishes left over to split between 6 or 7 people.

Sigh...it would be easier if I just made the whole meal myself.

I didn't just say that.
