My backyard

As promised....

This is a picture of the view that sold me on the house. Isn't it gorgeous?

I mean if you subtract the mismatched lawn chairs and just look at the Adirondack chairs and omg! look at that sky!!

This picture was taken this summer the day after we had our big BBQ. Hence the mismatched lawnchairs.

And here is essentially the same shot but in the grey of fall and with geese....

Almost everyday since late September we get a flock or two of geese that land and just sort of hang out for awhile. The other day there were actually about 20 geese wandering around our neighbours backyard.

They don't come into ours...maybe because of this....

Everytime the geese land the big guard dog starts barking as if each goose had a little machete and was coming to get us. It's hilarious because the dog thinks she is soooo tough and she is the biggest baby.

You'll notice that she is outside WITH the geese and NOT barking but if she were inside with a wall and a window between her and the geese she would be barkin' her fool head off.
